People will be aware of Martin’s love of fishing, particularly fly fishing.
2018 saw the inauguration of a Fly-fishing competition held at Fullerton’s Dam.
In 2018 the competition winners were Gerry O’Hara, Shane Crumlish and Peter McLaughlin.
In 2019 the competition winners were Paul Whoriskey, Archie Whoriskey and Danny McLaughlin.
In 2020 the competition had to be postponed due to Covid 19 health restrictions
